- Job Details:❖ Promoted to be one of 3 Area Superintendents for the entire project. ❖ Took charge of all the repair works to be performed in the RedZone having to do critical construction repairs ❖ Took charge of the complete construction of all commodities related to Area 3 in the Raven West Nile Delta project. Area included the Tank Farm Area, MEG Storage and Export, the Fire Water System, the Utilities Area, the Gas Turbine Generators, the 2 substations, the central control building, and the Produced Water System. ❖ Consolidated the raw data regarding quality and progress and presented it weekly to the Site Manager and client representatives. ❖ Personally, led the weekly Zero Accident Team walk down and ensured the participation and engagement of the client, contractor, and subcontractor personnel. ❖ Ensured that Bechtel and local national safety codes, requirements and standards are being implemented along with the Zero Accident Philosophy. ❖ Designated as the responsible superintendent to accelerate and hand over a section of the site that was deemed a priority to help the client achieve First Gas on a neighboring plant. ❖ Derived the weld overlay as a repair method for the corrosion repair on the Racks finishing in a very tight timeframe safely. ❖ Successfully handed over the prioritized areas, and relevant systems, to the client ahead of the required schedule, resulting in the client meeting their First Gas deadline. ❖ Acted as the focal point for the tightness team support from construction to assist in all heavy activities required for the tightness testing readiness. ❖ Took charge of the complete scope of the project valve interlocks. Responsibilities extended from the procurement, material management and vendor coordination to the onsite installation, modification, and sequencing, as well as the recording of any vendor non-conformance. ❖ Lead the positive de-isolation scope of the neighboring live plant to the newly constructed plant from the planning phase to the safe execution helping the client meet their milestones in a timely manner. ❖ Supervised the entire piping chemical cleaning endeavor onsite. Scope included the selection of a chemical cleaning subcontractor, identifying the required manpower and equipment, formulating a mobilization plan for the subcontractor, as well as the supervision of the entire scope of work, while maintaining a system turnover deadline date. ❖ Prepared 3-Weeks look ahead plans involving a vigilant study of materials receipt dates and physical areas ready for construction work at site & integrating the same to helping the construction Sub-CONTRACTOR planning their work & consequently progressing the fabrication/installation of piping materials. ❖ Championed the construction and handover of the entire Hot Oil system, Scope included the coordination between the mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation to get the system over the line in designated time ❖ Led the effort to restore the underground progress to align with the project schedule at a time when the underground piping was extremely critical and holding up most subsequent disciplines. ❖ Oversaw the completion of the civil scope of work for the tying in of a new plant to an existing brown field refinery. ❖ Ensured the homogeneity between different project functions, such as planning, contracts, supervision, and field engineering ❖ Served as the focal point for all 3D model trainings and management.
