• Job Details:• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing (EDP) • Hire and manage information systems personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement • Development & upgrades to the hotel’s telephone system overseeing all the changes and routing. • Evaluates and recommends purchases of computers, network hardware, peripheral equipment, and software, maximizing opportunities to reduce IT costs. • Responsible for the ongoing IT operations of the group of hotels and all subsidiaries with a key objective being to align IT service delivery with business requirements and priorities in an overall context of service excellence. Include analyzing business needs, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all company hardware and software ensuring uninterrupted day-to-day operation of the hotels. • Provide technical consulting services to department /organization regarding use of computers and networks to satisfy business needs. • Administration of in-house and customer production network including servers, workstations, routers, firewalls, switches, wireless networking. • Perform and oversee software and application development, installation and upgrades; maintains site licenses for department /organization. • Ensure backup and disaster recovery systems are operational. • Control the computer systems budgets and expenditures Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software • Install FortiNet firewall to secure all networks and control the internet usage, to protect all the systems installed. • Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate, Ensure hardware is stripped and secured before disposal • Provide individual training and support on request, Provide recommendations about accessing information and support
