Start working 2016 - End 2017 with a class certificate: - o 75% steel and construction modifications (above the main deck) – approx. 50 ton above the waterline and 24 ton under the waterline of ABS approved steel sheets. o Carry on communication with engineering office for the required modifications include but not limit (Drawings, Steel construction, Electrical work, Stability condition, tanks renewing and arrangements, new wheelhouse construction, all wheelhouse navigation equipment’s and instrumentation, main deck arrangement, engine room machinery, engine control room, overhauling and maintenance for main engines-diesel generators – auxiliary machinery, steering ) o Planning the required work scope including all required materials, equipment’s, spear parts, certificates, commissioning, trails, dry-docking schedule, local and international suppliers. o Carry on all communication with class ABS (local and head office) for the required certificates, inspections, assuring to complying with new regulations regarding the age of the mentioned vessel and all required modifications drawings under approval from the class. o Docking the vessel at WAV shipyard as per scheduled for 45 days and finished all required hull and underwaters steelwork (under the required standers approved by class),NDT inspections and reporting, steering and propellers work, cooling system, and painting according to marine regulations and full responsibility of work compilation certificates for all local and international contractors. o Communication with ABS class for all required inspections and trails in order to register and certify the new modified vessel (ABS and Marine society are involved to recertificate the vessel)  DB Dolphin (Pipe laying + Accommodation barge) were in lay-up position since 2014 and out of class on 2016. Start work in 2018 – End in 2019 with a class certificate and engaged in a project with Chevron: - o Reviewing all related drawings, main machinery condition reports, specialized machinery condition reports, auxiliary machinery history reports, accommodation zone (above the main deck and below the main deck), tanks condition and inspection, etc.) o Start project preparation from all aspects ( required work scope, required material ( local/international), supplier list and connections, budget and time schedule, work team and categorization of the required worker certificates, documentation and the required renewing, issuing, and modification of the documents according to the project status, docking and required activity by shipyard team, class communication and arrangements, engineering office communication-arrangements, coordination for all activity, reporting and meeting with management) o Carried on the scope of work by company/vessel team before docking ( tank cleaning, accommodation revision and material requisitions for the new and maintained items, deck wood removing- waterjet blasting – new wood installation, tower equipment’s (navigation, communications, instruments, pipe laying control equipment, anchor wires tension load cell calibration and/or change with new), barge crane 1200ton inspection – certification – load teat – wire changing -machinery maintenance, Engine room machinery and auxiliary repair – maintenance – upgrade, kitchen and public bathroom renewing, electrical equipment’s – wiring – AC’s – monitors – lighting maintenance and assure the good condition as required. o Projection the required steelwork after UT measure report for hull & sides and request the safe quantity of ABS class approve steel sheets, angle irons, brackets, etc. (different thicknesses) o Docking the barge at Shipside drydock as planned for 50 days doing the required underwater and tanks activity ( water jet blasting for Hull – sides – 22 tanks, steelwork (cutting, removing, and change with new all bad areas including angle iron, girders, bulkheads, side shell under ABS class standers and procedures ), painting with marine paint and antifouling system, changing qty. 210 zinc anode for the hull and outer shell, changing qty. 180 zinc anode inside tanks ) o Carry on all required inspections by class in order to certify the barge again as per barge category and function ( hull, machinery, documents, safety, 1200 t crane, anchor winches, electric supply generators, accommodations, stability condition, tanks, communication and navigation equipment’s, helideck condition and certificates, safe manning certificates, insurance) o After successfully issued the ABS class certificate for the barge, by management order, I was responsible for preparing the barge for a new project with DeltaTech company under Chevron company from all required
