• Job Details:• Deploying world best practice technical and specialist advice and services to the Sahara Pure farming team to increase productivity and manage risk. • Ensure appropriate strategy, management and delivery of Animal Health, Environmental Sustainability, Animal Welfare & Bio-security and Technical Training and Development of the farming staff. • Participating in finding opportunities for international investments in different countries. • Ensure that Animal, Health, Welfare and Bio-Security standards and protocols are established in all India projects as well as international farm operations. • Proposes methods of enhancing the large scale dairy farming model to maximize productivity and profitability. • Prepare budget and plan for Animal Husbandry and Farm Operations Departments and participating in plans and budget for animal procurement. • Creating protocols for animal procurement from different sources and locations. • Managing the purchasing, control and budget plans of medicines, equipment etc. • Upgrading and developing related Standard Operation Procedures on the Animal Husbandry Department. • Planning and designing new dairy projects in India as well as internationally, including animals barns designs, ventilation, flooring, bedding, milking parlor design, and manure management. • Managing and Organising on-job and off-farm training programs for animal husbandry and related programs. • Developing and planning the herd’s Genetics, Breeding & Fertility programs for all projects. • Managing all day to day activities at the dairy farms including crops harvesting, silage making, feeding, milking, and animal’s movements
