• Job Details:Safety Engineer at coveris for flexible packaging- egypt – sun capital partners (EX. KUBUSH) ▪ Risk Assessment for plant and operating m/c ▪ Kaizen events to ensure continous improvement of HSE in all departments. ▪ Issue different types of permit to work ▪ Preparing safety statics and all legal documentation ▪ Performing daily safety check on the operation lines. ▪ Performing risk assessment to any new machine, chemical analysis method, hazardous situation….etc. ▪ Application of the 5S system rules in lab to provide optimum safe working conditions. ▪ Conducting safety training and education programs, and demonstrate the safety based behaviour. ▪ Training of new employees on the risks associated to their work. ▪ Providing hot / cold works permissions for internal staff & external contractors and keeps its records. ▪ Scaffolding inspection, working at height, drilling, working in confined space, PPE’S status, Crane safe lifting operation and forklifts, all machines safety status. ▪ Inspecting work areas to ensure the presence of fire prevention equipment, safety equipment and first aid supplies. ▪ Investigating accidents / near misses / unsafe conditions to identify root causes and to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future. ▪ Maintaining and updating emergency response plans and procedures. ▪ Following- up safe storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous waste in comply with governmental legislation. ▪ Keeping up to date and maintaining the HSE documents / records. ▪ Following-up the implementation of the HSE management systems all over the company. ▪ Sharing the corrective / preventive action and following up the effectiveness of its implementation. Following-up suggestions / complaints of employees concerning HSE management system
