• Job Details:Responsibilities =============  To manage, monitor and control all the SW activities including the analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, installation and the delivery of the SW solutions with the objective of satisfying the customers, and produce quality products within corporate standards and rules  Leading a team of 30 employees [Project Managers, Developers, QC, Technical support, Graphic designers, and technical writer] in several Local and international projects.  Managing International and local projects for governmental and private sectors from requirements through estimations, design, staffing, development, testing till delivery including deployment, and training insuring customer satisfaction.  Managing after sales maintenance and support following up issues, priorities, resolution, updates insuring fast and quality service that guarantees customer satisfaction.  Performing Pre-Sales activities including tender response, and Demos.  Reporting department and projects status to senior management. Getting commitments for budget, R&D and project plans.  Define targets and objectives for the team according to market requirements and company general strategies.  Maintain and develop technology partner's relations Achievement ==========  Built a team of skilled project managers, developers, and QC that executes GET Pre-sales, Projects, and R&D Activities.  Developed, applied and monitored strategies, policies, and rules that control the security, software cycle, backup, customer support, Quality control, configuration management, and other activities within the Software department.  Suggested and built an ICR engine for special purpose projects that supports Arabic characters and numbers. That reduced projects cost by 40% and insured an edge for GET in the market.  Suggested and designed different solutions that reduced the cost of projects in general and enhanced GET position in competition.  Shared in the design of passport machine enhancements developed by Technology partner.  Managed the development of both customized projects and off the shelf packages. Achievements ===========  Introduced the OOP Using Visual C++ instead of C 6.0  Speeding Up the software development Cycle by  Building well designed Reusable Libraries Base.  Introducing new Technologies like ODBC, ActiveX, etc.  Introducing new Ideas in some critical projects like printer servers  Lowering the Cost of a major field of work of the company “Card Issuing Systems Customization” By developing an easy to use configurable card issuing package (ID Express) eliminating the development time spent before for customization.
