• Job Details:Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate workplace hazards. Ensure legal compliance by advising on adherence to health and safety laws and regulations. Develop health and safety policies by creating or updating workplace safety procedures. Conduct site inspections and audits to assess compliance and identify potential risks. Investigate accidents and near misses, providing corrective action plans to address the findings. Advise on safe work practices by recommending improvements to prevent workplace injuries/illness. Monitor safety performance by tracking health and safety metrics. Implement necessary improvements. Prepare reports and documentation, including safety reports, audit findings, and risk assessments. Support emergency planning by assisting with the development of emergency procedures, fire safety plans, and drills. Liaise with regulators to communicate with authorities during inspections or following incidents.

HSE Officer

• Job Details:Implementation of the ISO45001, international standard for safety, and monitoring thereafter. Safety induction training to all new employees and sub-contractors. Provide manual handling training and first aid training to employees. Overseeing the creating, coordination and reviewing of risk assessments. Managing safety training program - assess training gaps, organise training, maintain training matrix. Reviewing and updating policies and procedures where required. Lead investigations into accidents, incidents & near misses and identify root causes. Maintain a watch on all EHS legislation ensuring all legislative and industry requirements were met. Prepare and coordinate scheduled safety toolbox talks and audits as necessary. Ensuring all contractors were managed according to company H&S requirements. Ensuring all building related fire and emergency requirements were adhered to.
