Assistant Finance Manager - Taxation

• Job Details:Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with Sri Lankan laws and regulations. Prepare and review accurate and timely tax returns including income tax, VAT, SSCL, APIT and WHT. Responding to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing and interpreting data (liaising with internal & external auditors). Providing guidance and advice on tax matters to internal stakeholders, including senior management. Attending and appealing for assessments issued by the Department of Inland Revenue and liaising with tax authorities on behalf of the company. Manage a team of 05 staff and oversee accounting and tax related functions by reporting to Chief Financial Officer.

Senior Management Accountant

• Job Details:Preparation of monthly financial statements by data collection, analysis, investigation of variance, summarization of data, information and trends. Manage the overseas accounts of company's operations in Japan, United Kingdom and East Africa. Summarize and provide useful information through preparation of segmental reports about the company’s financial ability and credibility to the top management. Streamlined the accounts payable/receivable functions leading to better management of the company’s cash flow and working capital.
