• Job Details:-Setting out Project works in accordance with Drawings &Specification. Assist the Project Manager and the planning engineer in thepreparation of the project planning, review the work progress andtime schedule of each section with the concerned section engineer and provide feedback to update the look ahead planning so that targetscould be met. Review and verify on drawings, specifications, method statements,material data sheets and project specificrequirements/documentation, identify problematic design issues orother documentation discrepancies and make recommendations toensure conformity and efficiency of on-site executed work. Review suppliers’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawingsand coordinate their approval process with the project consultant. Maintaining quality control procedures. Participate as a member of the contract negotiation team, assumingresponsibility for explaining offer positions related to the proposedcontracts Deliver project on schedule, within budget, quality, and technicalstandards. Ensure that purchase orders comply with specification and requiredconditions before issuance. Forecast the needed resources (people, materials, equipment, tools,etc...), ensure their timely provision on site and set a strategy for theirproper allocation and management in a way to boost productivitywhile optimising the related cost. Anticipate and solve critical problems, investigate damages/incidents/delays, organize mitigation plans to minimize thecost of any unforeseen disruption, ensure on-site business continuity and secure the overall project’s profitability. Provide leadership and commitment toward safety and make sure safety requirements and regulations are well implemented at all levels.
