• Job Details:Translating in Oracle section requires handling various products and applications. Since Oracle always demands uniqueness and diversity, each application or product must have its own jargon even if they are merely simple words such as: item, select, etc. Hence, I have got experience in adapting flexibly with a huge amount of differences, according to the products alterations, one can encounter daily and sometimes hourly. Moreover, the distinctiveness of each product necessitates translating terms and concepts, for the first time, that even do not have an Arabic equivalence. As a result, I have also got experience in how to reach the most accurate equivalent term/phrase. Dealing with many translation CAT tools, I have acquired the basic knowledge of many of them especially Hyberhup and OTC as they are Oracle main tools. In addition, I have attained the necessary experience in handling different fields of translation including: finance, business, education, communication, maintenance, hospitality, customer care and many others. Consequently, I have got the opportunity to demonstrate my competence advising the new translation staff how to deal with the source and target texts properly and how to meet the deadline and even to finish one's task before it. Though I was a fresh graduate by the time I got appointed, I was trusted by the reviewers and the section heads to proofread and revise my peers work during critical phases.
