I was given processing tasks to do with minimal supervision. Due to the nature of the work, I also had to keep mindful of confidentiality. The short time period also required me to be a fast learner in order to be productive and assist the team. I worked as part of a team and was able to follow instructions very well.

- Job Details:In my role as a teaching assistant I supported the teacher in planning, and delivery learning activities and evaluating those learning activities. This required a great deal of organisational skills and communication skills as these things would have to be planned and organised with the teacher beforehand. I was trained to deal with accidents, emergencies and illness and was expected to learn child protection procedures, data protection laws and health & safety within a school environment which has equipped me with knowledge of working place practice. The role gave me experience with different types of people, as I was required to work with children, parents, colleagues, other student volunteers, people from different backgrounds etc.

Dec 2008 - Jun 2014 -5 yrs, 6 months
United Kingdom
- Job Details:As a packer, I gained working knowledge of small online retail business practice such as postal procedures including international mail. I was responsible for updating the website and creating new listings, and identifying whether stock levels are low. In the run up to Christmas, I was often required to pack over 200 parcels on any given day, which has given me experience of a fast-paced environment, and the pressures of working to a deadline. Whilst packing, it was my responsibility to pay attention to detail and to make sure the correct item is being posted to the correct person. My role also entailed looking at retail trends and our current customer buying patterns to effectively analyse and predict which items will sell, which will not.

Scope Charity
Jul 2007 - Feb 2008 -7 months
United Kingdom
- Job Details:I have gained experience in dealing with all sorts of customers, and being the first point of contact. During my time there, I was relied upon to do a multitude of tasks such as answering the telephone, cleaning, organising donations into categories, putting out stock, operating the till, and assisting the manager in any ad-hoc tasks. This has given me the ability to prioritise tasks, as it was often the case that I was the only one out at the front of the shop. Due to the nature of the shop, I was also often relied upon to problem solve issues regarding theft, dissatisfied customers, incorrect labelling etc.
