• Job Details:- Management of telecommunication projects in the framework of the modernization of signaling and telecom systems for 1000 km of the railway network in Egypt. - Define the scope of work and contract guidelines in the RFP with the consultants. - Responsibility for the elaboration of functional and technical specifications of the telecom systems [SDH transmission system, LAN/WAN, Optical Fiber, Radio networks (Microwave and VHF), PBX and VOIP telephony, Fire Alarm, Master Clock, CCTV, Access Control and PA/PIS systems]. - Leading the technical and clarification meetings with the bidders and the contractors. - Contribution in the Bidders Evaluation, Contract Negotiation and Contract Award according to World Bank and Kuwait Fund standards. - Review, development and approval for the preliminary design and the detailed design of the telecom systems. - Review and approval of the telecom subcontractors list and the proposed telecom equipment. - Controlling the change requests of the contractor with proving that the required works are in the project scope. - Managing telecom engineering teams and supporting the other project teams and the project manager. - Supervise the project implementation ensuring its adherence to the international standards. - Supervise the weekly and monthly work progress and assuring that the progress follows the project time schedule. - Responsibility for proceeding all FATs, SATs, testing and commissioning for the telecom systems according to the international standards. - Project management for particular signaling and telecom modernization projects.

Telecommunications Projects EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:- Discussing the needs of ENR stakeholder departments in the project. - ENR representation in all site surveys with the consultant explaining ENR existing telecom systems. - Contribution in the elaboration of ENR telecom functional and technical specifications. - Clarifying the telecom scope and provide the needed information to the bidders in the clarification meetings. - Technical evaluation for the bidder technical proposal. - Proven success in developing and improving the preliminary design and the detailed design for SDH transmission network, LAN/WAN, Optical Fiber, Radio networks (Microwave and VHF), PBX and VOIP telephony, Voice Recorder, Fire Alarm, Master Clock, CCTV, Access Control and PA/PIS systems. - ENR representation in local / abroad FATs and SATs for telecom systems with authorized signature. - Following-up the daily and weekly progress of the implementation of telecom systems on-site. - ENR representation in test & commissioning and putting into service for the telecom systems.
