• Job Details:-Review the building evacuation performance & different life safety regulations set by the Egyptian Fire Protection Code, the American life safety Code NFPA (101,220,13,5000,….etc), the international building code (IBC) and other international codes. Evaluate the building structural elements fire resistance during fire & determining how to protect them from extreme fire damage that can cause failure to structural elements. increase their endurance until the evacuation is completed. - (Executive Member Of Projects Review Committee) at ACUD branch - Studying the most updated versions of the international life safety codes like (NFPA,IBC,BSI,IFC) to update the current Egyptian fire protection code. Making code for existing buildings that were built before establishing the fire protection code to rise their efficiency during fire to secure the evacuation time without fatal damage to the structural element or lives.
