• Job Details:Role: As Country Controller • Responsible for monthly book closure, sign off & its submission on scheduled deadlines, per US GAAP, monthly review of country financials with Regional Controller & VP (JAPAC, GCO) and statutory adjustments by keeping track of the same as per local GAAP in Stat books • Performing Flux Analysis and effective review of reconciliations to keep the o/s lines under control • Evaluating tax disallowances to keep it at minimum and the variance as well as initiating proper resolution of issues • Determining instances resulting in improvement of deliverable timelines / elimination of risk / reports along with process improvements; ensuring compliance of SOX checklist & US 10K / 10Q reporting • Spearheading Inadmissible Input VAT Project rolled out in FY15 and building relationship with feeder processes & business • Leading Non-PO accrual project for JAPAC region, as FY16 goal.
