• Job Details:Participated in the quality control of raw materials through identification tests, assay procedures, and support in HPLC analysis under supervision. Conducted routine QC tests: FTIR, Karl Fischer titration, pH and viscosity measurement, residue on ignition, and loss on drying. Gained knowledge of working standards, and the use of British Pharmacopoeia (BP) and United States Pharmacopeia (USP) in pharmaceutical quality control. Followed GMP guidelines and SOPs for documentation, sampling, and testing procedures. Developed strong weighing techniques and familiarity with result printing and lab instruments. Studied characterization techniques and skin drug delivery systems using lipid nano-carriers. Worked on biomaterials for wound dressing and studied nanoparticle-based antimicrobial agents and their mechanisms. Participated in hands-on activities including: chemical extraction of chitosan from shrimp shells, preparation of thyme oil nano-emulsion and ketoprofen ethosomal gel, synthesis of silver nanoparticles (NPS) using chemical reduction, microwave-assisted, and green synthesis methods.
