      • Job Details:• Project Management - Enhanced the Emergency Response Section by revamping the workforce and tasks of fire shift technicians. Contributed to the Emergency Control Centre (ECC) enhancement through improvement of Emergency Management Team (EMT) files & checklists, live CCTV & video facilities from incident sites, improved digital radio communications, updated local and neighbouring facility maps, new desktops, printers and fax machines, etc. Headed numerous task forces in the revamp of Emergency Response Team (ERT) s’ structure, roles and trainings towards sustaining the organizations’ readiness to respond to Tier 1 emergencies, and beyond. • Reporting - Led the review and development of Emergency Response Manuals, Respond to External Emergency Procedures, Control of Industrial Major Accident Hazard (CIMAH) Reports, Permit to Work, Job Hazard Analysis, Confined Space Entry, Working at Height, and Pre Incident Action Plans (PIP). Responsible in managing fire water storage, distribution and usage during emergency besides emergency diesel generation during power outage. • Emergency Response – Incident Leader and On Scene Commander (OSC) as Utility shift executive. Led actual Tier 1 & 2 scaled emergencies in the plant involving fire, toxic release needing HAZMAT response, chemical spills & leakages and occupational injuries. Managed the resources of facilities & personnel of ERT during emergencies as well as communicating with EMT members and local authorities in control & relief. Exposed to ambulance, first aid, emergency shower and mobilization of victims to hospitals during emergencies involving casualties. • Optimization and Savings - Specific responsibility in managing emergency and firefighting resources on shift among ERT members. Responsible in managing raw water consumption in the plant to ensure minimum fire water availability for emergency is always met.
