Cashier

• Job Details:Take customer orders for food and beverages, process payments, and deliver items to customers. Receive payment by cash, credit/debit cards, or mobile payments, and issue receipts or change. Clean and organize the cashier station, including wiping down surfaces, restocking napkins, and tidying up tables and chairs. Provide information on menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pricing. Occasionally assist in prepping or assembling simple food items, such as pastries, sandwiches, or salads. Box, bag, or wrap items for customers taking their food and drinks to go. Keep the café stocked with coffee, tea, pastries, and other supplies, restocking as needed. Address customer concerns, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive dining experience. Issue refunds or credits and ensure proper change is given when needed. Ensure coffee, tea, and other beverage stations are stocked and clean, including cleaning coffee machines and grinders. Welcome customers as they enter the café and ensure a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. Take orders over the phone or provide information regarding café menu, prices, or hours of operation. Monitor stock levels of café supplies (coffee beans, milk, pastries, etc.) and notify management when supplies are low. Ensure food safety standards are followed, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages.
