• Job Details:WD Capital Limited is a startup investment firm that invests in Africa that strives to be Africa’s fastest and largest investor, developer and employer. WD Capital Limited is currently operating in Kenya, Côte d'Ivoire and Ethiopia, and will operate throughout the coming three years in Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda, Cameroon, Morocco and Zimbabwe. The company operates in a unique startup environment with an intense cultural and geographical diversity, moreover diverse industries as we operate in Hospitality, Sports & Leisure, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs), Financial Leasing Services, Education and Energy. o Build organizational capability and capacity through partnering with senior executives to strategically shape the future of the organization. o Work closely with and advise the management team on strategic/operational people issues o Scale, challenge the way things are done to develop world class teams and people o Effectively instill the corporate culture, vision and values within the company o Take an active role in driving the talent acquisition strategy/process across all regional offices o Ensure planning, evaluation and implementation of career planning and succession plans o Develop and implement best practices related to inclusive benefits and compensation programs to ensure we remain competitive as we scale. o Manage training and development programs for all levels of employees o Proactively participate in the budgeting and strategic planning process o Lead the design and implementation of employee engagement and communications programs o Own the development of all HR policies, procedures and programs across the company; also ensure the company fully complies with all applicable employment laws and regulations in Africa.
