Responsibilities: • The complete responsibility for revision of design drawings whether architectural & structural , sanitary .…etc , with the documentation & making drawing lists . • The complete responsibility of making , reviewing & modification of workshop drawings for the projects either made in-house or by subcontractors . • Assist & coordinate with various departments to resolve all issues in engineering processes . • Review bill of Quantities , Specs of the projects , making RFIS to the consultant , and submitting the proposals to solve any mismatching in tender drawings due to the lack of all the previous infos for the projects . • The complete responsibility of coordination with other disciples . • Attending the meetings with the owner & consultant for discussing technical issues & material approvals & any proposals or variation orders . • Value Engineering among the team of materials , solutions , execution methods & picking the points in the BOQ that could be used for variation orders or change of materials & methods . • The coordination with subcontractors & suppliers concerning the workshop drawings provided by suppliers whether as materials or new execution methods as a part of value engineering scope before submitting to the consultant for approval. • The complete responsibility for meeting the requirements of the client & the clients modifications & redesign , whether by giving proposals to aid , or submitting the new design workshop drawings , by reorganizing the priorities to match the planned time schedule , while informing other disciples & coordinating with them for the technical part & demanding any variation orders . • The responsibility of architectural presentation if required and the completing of any missing or required executive drawings . • Solution finding to whatever occurs during executing the project & the modification of designs according to new arrivals . • Making a monthly report about the projects handled and presenting it to the Engineering Sector Head Department .
