• Job Details:•Estimate costs for engineering projects based on an analysis of project technical requirements. •Collect and analyzes all project costs, including raw materials, labor, equipment and tooling to ensure estimates are accurate. •Identify and quantify potential cost uncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs. •Update costs as necessary based on new information and project scope changes. •Contribute to moderately complex aspects of a project. •Request for items’ quotations analyze and compare received quotations based on defined specifications to pick-up the most suitable ones. •Prepare the direct cost “Comparison sheets” and coordinate with internal parties when dealing with unusual complex items in order to bring out the project’s lump sum in an optimized and accurate manner. Study the specifications, drawings and conditions of the project contract. Process all project documents (working drawings, quantity surveying and purchase orders). Coordinate with different teams to get project documents issued. Close monitoring to contractors, consultants and suppliers' activities. Deliver construction project with the desired quality on time, within budget and resolve technical issues. Report accurately and timely on project progress until completion.
