- Job Details:After three years of being instructional designer, I find myself driven by one intriguing question "How to deliver better solution?". At Nahdet Misr I was given the opportunity to ask and seek answers of this question regarding the products' outcomes, the work-flow cycles, the used tools and technical development of the team. This allowed me to reach and communicate with the different key players (marketing, developers, graphic designers, ...etc.) in the products' cycle. Key achievements are: a. Directing of Ketapeida production to Articulate storyline instead of a built up template editor, this results in giving more space for creativity in the storyboards, reducing the development time 25%, reducing the testing time and quality assurance phase by 75%. b. Contributing in shaping up several project proposals. This includes designing suitable solutions' architecture, the work breakdown structure (WBS), setting up milestones and doing cost analysis. c. Try out and test different authoring tools / platforms whether to enhance existing production cycles or adding services to existing products, examples are GOMO, Kotobee, Powtoon, OpenEdx. d. Searching and analyzing opportunities to partner with multinational educational companies, like Mozaic, Learnetic, Thinkwik and Discovery Education.

- Job Details:As the company continued developing "Ketapedia" app, as a senior I took into my responsibility to build it better. For the 2nd phase of Ketapedia, my key achievements are: a.Participating in shifting the production cycle towards using Articulate Storyline. b. Developing easily used with clear instruction templates using SL2.This provided more flexibility and creativity space for the instructional designers in this phase. c. Training the ID team to use articulate easily before the production phase of the project. d. Fixing the articulate output that contained errors (troubleshoot problems). e. Leading a small team of two junior IDs to develop the storyboards of the mathematics curricula of grade 7 and 8. This included reviewing the blueprints and the storyboards, communicating the comments with the team and assuring that the output achieves the required learning performance. For the 3rd phase of Ketapedia, it aimed to widen the project scope to include grade 1 and grade 2 subjects. My key achievements are: a. Co-Leading this phase of the project from its analysis stage to the end of the production cycle. b. Communicating with different departments to align the output with the project objectives and scope. c. Participating in combining different learning strategies and techniques to meet the learners' needs and characteristics (Kids 6-8 years). d. Designing the gamification elements of the content. e. Designing the engine used to aggregate the content, implement the gamification elements and overcome the technical obstacles. f. Developing production templates using Articulate SL2. g. Reviewing the outcome and support the team members (Troubleshooting).
Junior Instructional Designer Full Time

- Job Details:As a junior, I worked on analyzing the content and the learner needs, designing blueprints, writing innovative storyboards, review the final output. In this phase I worked on two major projects 1- Ketapedia project is an interactive educational application aligned with the Egyptian National Curriculum. Key achievements are: a. Preparing the blueprints of science and mathematics curriculums of grade 8 and 7. b. Writing highly detailed Storyboards of the above-mentioned content. c. Editing the readable text of the iBook’s, enhancing the look and feel of the experience. d. Reviewing the final product before launching. 2- DIGITALIZING SUDANESE CONTENT This project objective was to digitalizes the Sudanese ministry of education (MOE) content. Key achievements are: a. Converted the MOE content of Sudan into e-books. b. Edited the readable text of the content. c. Choose appropriate images and pictures for the content. d. Reviewed and evaluated the final product.
