    • Job Details:Buildup & opening team  Commercial Promote the sales of products by spotting and seizing sales opportunities, offering alternative solutions to customers' needs and suggesting add on sales in order to achieve the established sales target. Suggest means of improving sales to my supervisor as well as determine “slow moving” or “non-selling” items and suggest sales action. Solve payment problems based on assigned levels of authority and escalate to Management when necessary. Ensure that IKEA customers are well-attended to, assuring their needs are satisfied. Operations: Receiving payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits. Follow SOP pertaining to cash handling. Computing and recording transactions and ensuring 100% accuracy for all register transactions. Cash handling and safe custody of collected cash Maintaining clean and orderly checkout areas Counting and recording the float before trading begins and upon close of trading. Conduct a daily detailed inspection of my assigned area so as to review the availability and positioning of price labels, product information tags and other communication media. Review daily stock level on all products in my assigned area and recommends orders to the Shopkeeper.  Customer Determine the customers’ requirements, and make appropriate suggestions accordingly. Maintain contact and advice customers on news or recently received items of interest as well as following up on quotations sent in an effort to convert to actual sales.
