DIMO has interest in Automobile, Trading, Manufacturing, Construction, Healthcare, Agriculture, & Service sectors in Sri Lanka, Maldives & Myanmar. The Group SeniorManager is reporting to the Group Chief Internal Auditor including following duties and responsibilities. • Preparation of Annual Audit Plans, and Managing Audit Team • Carry out process audits to ascertain the effectiveness of prevailing Internal Controls, Processes and suggest improvements appropriately. • Lead audit team to conduct periodic audits to ensure the compliance with laid down controls and procedures • Designing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for business units. • Discuss audit findings with SBU heads, and negotiate the recommendations • Conduct due diligence for takeovers etc and report thereon. • Carry out internal audits to identify Weakness in internal systems and procedures and make suggestions to improve them. • Carry out audit on Financial Statement elements to ensure financial reporting according to the IFRS and LKAS and Assess the compliance with Tax regulations. • Conduct Special Investigations of Frauds. • Carry out Risk Assessments to ascertain the Operational, Business, and Strategic risks and to ensure that that required measured have been taken to mitigate same. • Attend for Audit Committee meeting whenever necessary and explain the audit findings
