• Job Details:• Budget Analysis: Responsible for analysing, dissecting, and generating 15 +/- budgets for the construction of bank property and ensuring project delivery by maintaining a 100% approval rate. • Design Analysis: Responsible for reviewing and adapting architectural designs to ensure the bank building properties are cost efficient and align with sustainable green building objectives by 2025. • Negotiation: Managing the bank’s cost parameters for projects by negotiating rates and scope of works with 7 +/- main contractors prior to budget approval. • Cost Management: Ensuring the quantities and rates of the various trades of work remain within the cost parameters and increasing cost efficiency by 12%. • Leadership: Guiding and directing team members to ensure successful project delivery within 4 - 6 weeks. • Team Collaboration: Collaborating with Project Managers, Architects and Vendors to execute 500 projects over a 5-year rollout span. • Working Remotely: Assigned to perform daily KPI’s remotely by corresponding with colleagues and main contractors via MS Teams, emails and calls to ensure 5-10 budgets are submitted per week, purchase orders and variations are processed for works to commence.

• Job Details:• Measuring & Take-offs: Measured and quantified construction works by analysing and completing take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings for construction purposes in an accurate manner to avoid cost anomalies. • Subcontractor Management: Appointed and collaborated with subcontractors for works and agreed the scopes of works, contractual obligations, rates and payment terms and processed payments on a fortnightly or monthly basis to ensure project delivery in a timely and cost-efficient manner. • Tendering: Responsible for negotiating, pricing, and generating Bill of Quantities and compiling tender documentation for an average of 3 projects per month over the value of R5 million (Rands). • Procurement: Converted accurate and vetted data from take-offs, measurements, and Bill of Quantities to generate between 40 – 50 purchase orders per week for building materials and plant machinery. • Finance: Responsible for compiling and presenting progress payment draws to clients on behalf of the main contractor monthly. Producing and presenting a detailed and accurate project cash flow report to ensure the timely payment of creditors. Compiling monthly payment valuations for the main contractor. • Value Engineering: Assessed and implemented alternative building features and practices to reduce costs without compromising the required standards of building. • Rate Build-up: Obtained and assessed various components of a trade to compile a cost rate for the works to be executed in a cost efficient and market competitive manner. • Planning & Organizing: The co-ordination of materials, plant, and sub-contractors to ensure successful project execution based off the project timelines per week. • Cost Management: Reviewed the overall costs of construction projects from inception to final completion by reducing cost risks, managing work execution, and negotiating rates with suppliers and manufacturers of plant and materials. • Site Inspections: Conducted weekly site walk-throughs with project team members, sub-contractors, and clients to ensure project progress, assess challenges and manage cost disputes. • Construction Technology: Understood the construction building process and costs involved with aspects of it to improve project cost expenditure and building efficiency. • Construction Management: Co-ordinated with the project team to successfully execute 13 projects within budget over a six-year span, each costing no less than R5 million (Rands) without compromising time and quality expectations. • Client Liaison: Liaised with various clients and institutions by cementing relations through exceptional service and increasing client retention by 30%.
