• Job Details:Playing a key strategic role in the region, establishing new relationships, identifying and developing new business opportunities and building a more robust delivery platform in terms of quality, processes, standards and control. Project managing a critical subcontract on a $75m geotechnically complex marine infrastructural (pier and seawall) development project for the Iraq Navy in Umm Qasr, Iraq - collaborating with the US Army Corps of Engineers. • Building strategic relationships with Iraqi companies, the Iraqi Navy, American construction and oil companies, and the US Army Corps of Engineers. • Driving all facets of the subcontract - budgets, quality control & assurance, teams, manpower development, progress reporting, document control and safety. • Playing the principal technical/geotechnical role in the marine environment

• Job Details:General Managing - with full Profit & Loss accountability - a Quarry & Crusher Company providing 5.5 million tonnes of rock, aggregate and boulders pa. • Managing operations with special focus on making output improvements, decreasing costs, monitoring performance and improving efficiency • Leading the implementation of more accurate, professional and 'best practice' HSE, administrative & business management systems • Achievements included (i) raising moving plant availability from 60% to 88% (a 40% improvement); (ii) doubling (x 100%) production; (iii) improving product quality to being one of the best in the industry; (iv) decreasing blasting and drilling costs by 43%; (v) increasing plant availability from 56% to 93%
