• Job Details:Project Details: Construction of HVDC (500 KV DC/240 KV AC) Converter Station in Langdon, Calgary, Canada. Key Accomplishments & Responsibilities: • Worked as an acting Civil Site Manager for the HVDC substation. • Responsible for all civil works on site with additional responsibility of electrical works such as yard grounding, cable channels/trenches; work includes preparing CWP’s and SOW’s for contractors. • Responsible to resolve technical issues and day to coordination on site. • Responsible to manage entire work package components including schedule, material, revisions, approvals, threats and releases, compliancy’s, cost and reporting. • Responsible and own the RFI, NCR/CAR/PAR and as-built process on site, assist EOR in reviewing technical Submittals. • Write daily and weekly reports that include manpower, equipment, schedule/progress status, QA/QC records/issues etc. • Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings, discuss and manage EHS, review JSA/JHA, verify Contractor’s safety practices are followed. The project completed without any LTI. • Create and implement short interval schedules (3-WLA) for monitoring contractors and proper coordination. • Provide technical support and coordinate with the design team, Germany, contractors and Client. • Review contractor change orders and billings for accuracy. • Part of the team responsible for site resource & workload planning. Assist scheduling for overseas freight and logistics. • Participate in risk and value management in regard to cost and schedule control. • Looking after environmental concerns/issues on the project to satisfy all provincial and federal requirements.

Construction Coordinator/Project EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:Project Details: Construction of Water and Bitumen treatment plant in oil sands for Conoco Phillips Surmont-2 FortMacmurray. Key Accomplishments & Responsibilities: • Monitor and record day to day progress in the field with general and discipline superintendents. • Responsible for tracking progress and schedule (3weeks-6weeks-9weeks) on the field and if required on some occasions elevate concerns/issues to Sr. Construction Manager. • Responsible to handle all communication with engineering, review and mark up PFD and P&ID;’s. • Responsible to resolve and support NCR resolution (CAR/PAR) with the QA/QC function, owns RFI process on the field. • Responsible to locate opportunities for changes (monitor and record) on the field and process as per company’s change management practice (change/trend). • Responsible to produce various project management reports such as key performance indicator, project status report, cost reports and other relevant reports for the client. • Responsible for participating in risk and value management with regard to cost and schedule control. • Verify construction work package (CWP) and support prepare SOW. • Responsible to develop Path of Construction and Construction Execution Plan (CEP) for the construction team. • Coordinates and monitor activities of assigned contractors and ensures compliance with project safety, quality, schedule, cost requirement. • Support bidding team (proposal & estimation) by developing proper equipment utilization plan, project schedule and manpower forecast, etc. • Responsible to check and verify FIWP's prior release to the construction team. • Developed construction Manual and generic pre-mobilization plan for the front end construction and planning. • Assist in preparation of Risk Management, lessons learned, gate review sessions.

Project Engineer/Civil EngineerFull Time

• Job Details:Project Details: Construction and refurbishment of 350 m3/day waste and water treatment plant in Abu Dhabi, Construction and maintenance of lift stations, pumping stations and irrigation reservoirs in Abu Dhabi. Key Accomplishments & Responsibilities: • Initiated value engineering and proposal submission for CSA works (BDEP-Package). Participate and coordinate company risk and opportunity evaluation. Prepared MTO/BOQ and bid evaluation for CSA works. • Assisted for updating the construction quality control/assurance manual for the project execution. • Responsible for resource management, diversified but unified team building in multicultural environment. • Timely project reporting (schedule, cost control trends & progress reports). • Coordinated scope development, evaluated resource requirements, front end engineering design, drawings and document (SOW, SD, PTW & MS) requirements for the project execution. • Supervision and mentoring of 20 engineers, technical staff, team members. • Responsible for administering construction contracts, reviewing and approving project works & payment certificates of sub-contractors (Vendor). • Participation in developing safety procedures (Hazard, Risk, Environmental) analysis to meet client’s requirements. • Interact directly with technical, functional management and subject matter experts throughout organization • Lead in preparing & submitting detail project proposals and estimates for civil discipline in the project. • Assisted in preparation of materials, labour and equipment cost estimates necessary to successfully execute project according to proposals, plans and specifications. • Responsible to submit proposals, scope change orders & conduct review meetings with client/consultant. • Provide procurement support including material requisitions, and preparing L.P.O. /W.O. for the vendors.
