At Shift E-Business, we were working with the agile methodology definitely the SCRUM framework. Scrum originally was formalised for software development projects, but it works well for any complex, innovative scope of work. The possibilities are endless.
I will give you a brief about Scrum Process scenarios in 30 seconds:
A product owner creates a prioritised wish list called a product backlog. During sprint planning, the team pulls a small chunk from the top of that wish list, a sprint backlog, and decides how to implement those pieces. The team has a certain amount of time — a sprint (usually two to four weeks) — to complete its work, but it meets each day to assess its progress (daily Scrum). Along the way, the Scrum Master keeps the team focused on its goal. At the end of the sprint, the work should be potentially shippable: ready to hand to a customer, put on a store shelf, or show to a stakeholder. The sprint ends with a sprint review and retrospective. As the next sprint begins, the team chooses another chunk of the product backlog and begins working again.

My responsibilities as a scrum master in the Scrum team were to:
• Performed feasibility analysis for the user stories in the Product backlog and identified test scenarios/test objectives
• Acts as a facilitator for the Product Owner and the team.
• Works to remove any impediments that are obstructing the team from achieving its sprint goals. This helps the team remain creative and productive while making sure its successes are visible to the Product Owner.
• Works to advise the Product Owner about how to maximise ROI for the team.
• Facilitating the daily stand-up
• Helping the team maintain their burn-down chart
• Setting up retrospectives, sprint reviews or sprint planning sessions
• Shielding the team from interruptions during the sprint
• Removing obstacles that affect the team
• Walking the product owner through more technical user stories
• Encouraging collaboration between the Scrum team and product owner
