Ensure adherence to strict quality control procedures. • Reduced staff by 40 while maintaining production levels through a redesign of operational processes and improved training and staff utilization. • Played integral role in eliminating types of waste and reducing the total manufacturing cost by 20%. • Leading the plant to be Zero Land fill factory. • Leading innovations expansions for sugar and sugar free Gum processing and packaging.. -Developed and executed the yearly manufacturing plan for the Plant to deliver the business objectives (production volume, manufacturing controlled cost, quality, safety) -Provided input to the infrastructure Planning Process (capacity addition, facility expansion) as it relates to the Plant & related SC Facilities. -Manage the efforts of Kraft operating teams across multiple shifts in the efficient conversion cost and delivery of targeted orders within budget. Directly and indirectly manage a cross-functional team in the overall operation of the value stream, including Order Management, Inventory Management, Production Scheduling, Maintenance and Continuous Improvement.. -Champion associate safety as a living example of behavioral based safety. -Assure the ongoing production of safe and defect free products consistent with the principles of Kraft HACCP proficiency are required; this manager owns ongoing training and championing of quality goals and improvements at the area level. -Provide leadership and direction to Kraft steering reliability associates ensuring asset base is appropriately maintained.
