• Job Details:I studied the theory of a solar collector and implemented a non-conventional technique known as Passive Tracking. Ideally, the highest possible amount of heat energy is demanded to be harnessed from the sun but this cannot be guaranteed unless a tracking device is attached to the module. The function of passive solar tracking involves turning the collector plate to follow the direction of sun. A low boiling point gas is used to fill in pipes that are connected to the module from both sides. Hence, power output is increased which contributes to higher efficiency.
