• Job Details:The “Green Sharm El-Sheikh” project will support the city’s efforts to integrate energy and resource efficiency, solid waste management, biodiversity, and green infrastructure into a sustainable and resilient development framework and thus improve the quality of life in Sharm El-Sheikh. It targets a reduction of GHG and UPOP emissions as well as the reduction of plastic wastes and impact on biodiversity and sensitive ecosystems within the broader context of urban sustainability. More broadly, the project seeks to contribute to a transformational change in urban planning and development to meet the economic, mobility and social needs of city residents, while also contributing to climate change mitigation and more sustainable and climate-resilient cities in general under the Sustainable Development Goals
