- Job Details:Welcome Tours LTD Egypt was established in July 2001 as a Swiss – Egyptian joint venture (92% Swiss – 8% Egyptian), as leading travel agency in Egypt. Have started my career at Welcome Tours, as deputy general manager for administrative affairs, and information technology. Based on my inputs in upgrading of the software applications and data base of the company that showed my capabilities and knowledge in managing operational tasks, I was assigned to carry out additional responsibility as operation manager of one of the most sophisticated Swiss tour operators, with full responsibility for the operation, invoicing, invoice settlement and hotels' payments. After almost one year of employment, I was assigned to be responsible for the marketing and International Exhibitions (planning, participation size, budget, exposure, promotional materials, etc.….) Due to the efficient handling of all these tasks (operation and Exhibitions) that reflected my excellent communication skills and ability to finalize deals, a new responsibility had been added to me, which is the contracting on behalf of the company and the international operators with different service providers (Hotels, Cruises, Golf clubs, SPA, Diving centers, Diving safari boats). As well as all needed payments. Shortly after this success, I had been assigned by the biggest Swiss operator at that time to act as their contracting manager in Egypt and United Arab Emirates (for 2 years) and training of the staff in UAE on the contracting system and software, beside my original job as deputy general manager and operation manager and responsible of the IT department. Lately and in addition to all the above, I have been assigned to be responsible for the reservation of a sister hotel.
