• Job Details:Working on real-time industrial automation projects involving PLC, SCADA, VFD, HMI, control panel design, and pneumatics. Designed and developed the control panel from scratch, including component selection, wiring, and panel layout for conveyor automation system for a packaging plant (Allen Bradley Micrologix 1400). Programmed AB Micrologix 1400 PLC using RSLogix 500 to automate conveyor operations such as start/stop sequencing, object detection, and motor control. Integrated sensors and actuators with VFDs and HMI for real-time monitoring and control. Created detailed wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and component selection lists aligned with CSA/UL standards for industrial control systems. Generated electrical BOMs and supported procurement teams to ensure timely build of automation panels.

Automation Engineer

• Job Details:Integrated the autonomous mobile robot (AMR) with Siemens PLCs to control disinfection sequences, safety interlocks, and real-time monitoring using inputs from IR, LIDAR, and motion sensors. Developed and tested PLC logic to synchronize UV-C light activation with AMR navigation, enabling safe and efficient disinfection in hospital environments. Designed and engineered Sirius, an autonomous disinfectant AMR deployed in Panama hospitals, enhancing infection control through automated UV-C treatment. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to integrate motion controllers, servo drives, and sensors with PLCs and HMI systems, ensuring seamless system communication. Created electrical schematics using EPLAN and led hardware-software integration to transition from prototype to production while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
