Freelance Hardware Design Engineer

• Job Details:System on Module (SoM) board design. Designed an 8-layer SoM board incorporating NXP i.MX8M Mini, 4GB LPDDR4, 32GB eMMC, 32MB QSPI flash, Wi-Fi/BT module, Atheros Ethernet PHY, PCIe 2.0, MIPI CSI/DSI, USB and other high-speed interfaces. Implemented advanced PCB layout techniques, including impedance control and layer stack-up optimization, to support high-speed signal integrity, and reduce EMI emissions. Conducted power and signal integrity simulations using HyperLynx and Keysight ADS, to ensure the board working right the first time.
