ACHIEVEMENTS:
I reduced the cost of 3 contracts as follows:
1- Vessels Charter
we have about 4 vessels working in the field I reduced the cost by eliminating the contract of one vessel the 3 other vessels were available in the field in a better rotation organization so the field was safe and fully operative with no damage to operations, that saved the company around 7m USD per year.

2- Helicopter Charter:
we have 5 helicopters operating in the field I reduced the number to reach 3, and one on ADHOC / On-call basis, that saved the company about 4m USD per year in including jet fuel cost for the 2 eliminated helicopters.

3- Equipment & Labor Contract:
We were asked to reduce this contract by ending the services of 20% of the labors, the operation volume was decreasing, before touching the labors area I had to think of the equipment to avoid releasing labors. I ended the service of 1 heavy crane and 2 heavy trucks which is more than 30% of the contract value and more than the 20% decrease in labors value that was asked by the management to reduce. We saved about 2.5m USD per year for the company.

Brief Job Description

- Monitoring Compliance and admission of suppliers, vendors and contractors to valid Contracts.
- Assuring vendors are matching company’s standards in Pre-Contract phase while listing valid vendors (vendor qualification & evaluation).
- Representing the company in contractual & cost related issues.
- Review contractor nominated subcontractor bid lists for acceptability.
- Manage relevant contract related correspondence.
- Implementing company contracts policy and procedure in compliance with legal,
Financial obligations.
- Ensure that compliance needs of contracts are satisfied including insurance certificates, authority levels and contract approvals..
- Monitoring Contracts with JV partner and its cost reallocation.
- Contributing in contract formation along with HSE Dept., FIN. Dept., and the requesting department.
- Evaluating bidders during Tender technically (for Management systems, HSE aspect, technical specification required to handle the required service)
- Handling contract in the Post-Contract phase.
- Contributing in protecting the company’s rights during any contractual dispute with contractors or Governmental authorities.

- Identifying company needs before issuing a requisition for service or material.
- Creating Technical Specification for the required service or material.

- Creating and estimating Rates & Compensation for the required Service or Material.
- Creating Requisition on SAP system.
- Communicating with bidders and technicians to get the exact technical requirements.
- Evaluating Bidders offer’s presented during the Tender.
- Recommending the winning Bidder according to their offers.
- Receiving the newly issued contracts to start dealing with vendor based on the contract.
- Processing invoicing for the vendors based on their contracts.
- Creating Feedback forms related to contractor’s behavior, adherence to contract terms & conditions, adherence to the Company’s policy, and the quality of job performed.
- Holding & Monitoring Budget and all related cost to the Logistic Base.
- Set Cost Forecast for the upcoming fiscal years based on the foreseen activities.
- Auditing and reviewing all on hire and off hire certificates issued for vessels working for the Logistic Marine Base.
- Controlling of bunkering & jet fuel supply of vessels and helicopters.
- Marine Traffic: Auditing all costs related to vessels with marine traffic records.
- Controlling shipping agency services for all maritime unites.
- Supporting and controlling vessels assignments starting from “Vessel Requisition”, to Tender, Technical Evaluation and Contract administration.
- Prepare Budget for Port Said Logistic Base.
- Follow up well operation activities and relevant budget providing explanation about variances when required.
- Review well operations process invoices and offer solutions to improve the department efficiency.
