• Expertise Wan Projects including implementation, Troubleshooting and maintenance where Lease line, WBB (P2P) and ISDN (PRI / BRI) lines are involved.
• Identify to track and close all docket related to WAN Media.
• Analyze root cause of issue in Wireless Media.
• Responds to tickets opened by routine alarms and network issues
• SLOW BROWSING ISSUE: Analyze the cause for the issue with tools like extended ping & Trace routes from customer router & route-servers for any backend routing Issues.
• SLOW CONNECTIVITY & PACKET DROPS: Analyze the issue by customer interface Traffic. If traffic is not exceeding more than the limited Bandwidth will follow further steps by analyzing through extend ping & trace route. Resolve the issue by coordinating with NOC Tech.
• IP BLOCK LIST: Explain to Clint how the IP has been block list. Resolve the issue by coordinating with NOC and Client.
• Handling Network related issues in pop setup and customer collocated Equipment’s.
• Handling backbone & trunks 2MB Link and DS3 links. In case if any down time for these links will trace the problem & resolve the issue by coordinating with related service providers.
• Assist with Asset Maintenance, Spare Handling.
• To constantly upgrade the knowledge on the new products and technologies absorbed into company network
• Instructs customer on how to clear alarms and/or reset equipment.
• Opens a ticket with the designated phone company for telecommunications-related issues. Follows established company procedures.
• Continues to drive issues with the telecommunications company to ensure timely resolution of customer’s network outage. Follows escalation procedures for the Tikona when issues are not being resolved.
• Maintains communication with the customer throughout the problem resolution process of actions taken.
• Coordinating with Customer to get the alarm status in network devices (Modems, Routers) & guide them to clear the alarms / reboot the equipment. If not cleared then following with Provider to make link up.
• Verbally communicates escalation issues impacting targeted response times to management.
• Interface with other team within the company for completion of the project.
