- Job Details:Logistics section head ( Jan 2014 till Now) Managing and supervision of all logistics plans, Negotiating and maintaining data base on Ocean freight , air freight,clearance agents and local transport rates. - Achieving efficiencies and driving costs down by researching new ocean /land carriers and effectively negotiating contracts. - Directing and managing all logistics staff and subordinates - Ensure documentation is accurately processed, disributed, and released to carriers,forwarders , customers and agents in a timely manner - Analysis export statistics on monthly basis and generate related reports Logistics Officer ( Oct 2005 till Dec 2013) -Receiving jobs from production department in order to proceed job cycle after clearing financial issues. - Arrange the shipping schedule with all the concerned departments. -Plan the shipment and preparation of documents in accordance with the availability of vessels and letter of credit terms & conditions. - Ensure that all documents for exports are prepared, verified and legalized. - Negotiating and dealing with the shipping lines to get the best freight rate and service. - Preparation of paper works for customs clearance. - Ensuring that the logistics of export jobs is cost & time optimized - Responsible for air shipments through either airfreights or couriers. -Revising B/Ls drafts sent from the shipping lines according to the letter of credits - Doing and revising all settlements according to offers, invoices & receipts received
