Revenue Cycle Management Specialist

• Job Details:Play an active part within the hospital teams to encourage and educate operational practices to improve quality of clinical data. Code all primary and secondary diagnoses and procedures on all NHS operation episodes of care to the units. Creating invoices and assist the cash flow management team. Input clinical codes using the four-step coding process with ICD-10 & OPCS codes. Assign proper HRG codes using the case mix software by NHS and to complete the billing process to ensure the hospital spell is completed and invoiced in a timely manner. Ensure all activity is invoiced according to targets and contractual requirements. Manage and maintain the effectiveness of, and to identify possible improvements in, the clinical coding procedures and protocols. Completing electronic and/or manual data entry in an accurate and timely manner to agreed standards. Provide specialist coding advice to clinicians and information staff on request. Assist and cooperate with external audit processes. Ensure monthly submission of data via portal for the following are submitted in timely manner.

Assistant Clinical Manager

• Job Details:Directed and scheduled overall functions of the GP functions including ERS referrals, HTT teams and liaise with NHS trust for effective functioning. Updating the knowledge by frequently taking part in continuous education programme. Translate medical diagnosis and procedures to codes using EMIS enabling SNOMED CT terminology. Look for QOF and other notifications and process the data for necessary amendments for completion. Liaise with GPs for any clarification on the diagnosis or terminology. Workflow the documents for any urgent/ attention to GP for any action. Process and summarise the medical summary sent by the patient’s previous surgery. Process the 111 reports for any urgent action to be taken and to send to the doctor concerned.

Clinical Coder

• Job Details:Coded diagnoses and procedures using EMIS and SNOMED CT terminology. Processed medical documents and liaised with GPs for clarifications. Contributed to team tasks, including scanning letters and processing emails.
