• Job Details:Responsible for making sure that all supply chain activities adhere to governmental legislation and comply with all import and controlling requirements. Organizing the safe and efficient storage and distribution of goods, also in charge of ensuring that all staff are adequately trained and skilled to deliver the qualitative service that is expected of them. Job DUTIES: • Review & update supply chain practices in accordance with changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws. • Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy. • Directing and managing staff and subordinates. • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams. • Determine key supply chain KPIs. • Suggest solutions for process improvements. • Provide constructive feedback. • Ensuring that all appropriate documentation is kept on file and available for inspection at all times. • Negotiating costs with suppliers, inspectors and other third parties. • Monitoring the cost, quality, and efficiency of the movement, clearance and storage of goods and stock. • Select efficient transportation routes, consolidating warehousing and distribution. • Tracking deliveries and making sure the goods are received at the right time. • Ensure and oversee the clearance procedure of entire product range. • Explore opportunities for easier/ faster clearance of imports into country. • Oversee all warehouse logistics. • Supervise and direct warehouse staff; put worker safety as a top priority. • Track all incoming and outgoing products. • Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service. • Ensure proper transport, packaging, and placement of products.
