• Job Details:ACTING AS LOGISTICS AND PURCHASING DEPARTMENT MANAGER REPORTING TO THE CEO - Plan, direct, or coordinate material flow, warehousing, forecasting & customer service. - Issue and develop operations plan for business units to achieve company goals. - Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse and goods transportation. - Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle. - Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency. - Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments. - Identify and implement process improvements and cost optimization initiatives. - Create policies or procedures for logistics activities. - Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery - Provide purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
