• Job Details:-White Point El Abd is a home appliances company and through my position as assistant marketing manager, I’m responsible for the cold line (Fridges, Freezers, Water Dispensers & AC) with full product line responsibilities: -Conducting competitor’s comparison ( in terms of features, prices, design, shop display, branding tools i.e. POS, etc....) and updating it on regular basis. -Proposing pricing for the cold line based on cost structure, profit margin, competitors prices, position in the market, etc.... -New product / features recommendations according to market demand and consumer preferences for the purpose of expanding our product portfolio. -Communicating with our suppliers, regular communications regarding new launched items with new features. -Conducting market survey / consumer survey and analyzing the results, making decision based on it. -Following up on cold line manuals and all related artwork with related persons / agencies. -Preparing product announcements for new products (features, photos, dimensions, etc...) to be sent upon product arrival and shared with staff members. -Participating in the preparation and implementation of marketing action plan (ATL and BTL activities) -Proposing and following up in printed materials and marketing materials related to the product (Brochures, Flyer, POS, etc....) -Price promotions and offers on special occasions (Mothers’ Day, Ramadan, etc...) and during weak seasons and also for slow moving items. -Regular training sessions and workshops for sales representatives especially for new products and highlighting on our main product line competitive edges and USPs. -Also responsible for the communication with the social media agency -Besides being responsible for communication and supervision of new website launch with the developing company.
