• Job Details:Swift ability to multi-task and respond to customer requests and inquiries. -Extensive experience on shipping documentation e.g. on/off higher certificates etc. -Good communication and Decision making skills. -Good customer service relationship. -Good telephone etiquette. -Profound ability to employ safe practices e.g. Stop, Think and Act. -Good coordination skills and contingency planning. -Streamlining of operations to yield optimum productivity. - Manage the shipping administration process, including the up keep of accurate records, consolidation of reports, and cataloguing of all shipping data. - Ensure work is completed on time to enable the service levels to be met and the shift to be successful - Ensure collections from customers are done on time - Process returns from other channels - Ensure all performance measurements are met - Ensure replenishment occurs during their shift to ensure efficient service -Preparation of weekly reports on the status of incoming shipments -Estimation of the Fuel and fresh water requirements of the marine vessels - Checking of costs from freight forwarders and clearing agents against approved rates - Continuously tracking of Shipment progress and communicate delays, working closely with the Shipping Supervisor to address any shipment issues. - Advise merchandisers and distribution centres of incoming shipments.
