• Job Details:• Knowledgeable in operating and monitoring of turbine, generator, boiler, and power generation supplied with the objective of generating power with most efficient use of resources. • Promotes plant operational procedures for efficient work and handling work safely. • Monitoring boiler in on-line mode for tube leaks, operates boiler blow down, deslag boiler as necessary, assist in the operation of combustion equipment (Fuel Oil burners) and adjust manually the controlled dampers to regulate boiler combustion. • Observe, analyze, and operate FD fans, Primary Fans, Induce Draft Fans, pulverizers, feeders, air heater (rotary type), Bottom ash removal system (Submerge Drag Conveyor and pulverizer pyrites), vacuum system, ESP (electrostatic precipitators and rappers) boiler feed pumps. • Operates and record data of Diesel Generator, flue gas scrubber (Spray Dryer Absorber) and travelling water screen. • Clean and maintain assigned work area and equipment’s; record and document maintenance and repair, raised worked orders and reports relative to work performed. • Monitor Thermal Desalination plant and operates it in its optimum performance. • Extensive experience on THERMAL & RO type DESALINATION thru the company’s program of System Ownership • Conduct testing for RO such as probing, profiling and UF integrity and leak detection. • Cathodic protection monitoring and replacing of sacrificial anodes.
