• Job Details:Led IT department team of 8 persons for all sections: development section, network infrastructure section, and helpdesk team in all company’s branches (UAE and Iraq branches). ▪ Preparing, monitoring, and controlling the annual IT budget (1.5 million USD) to reduce the Capex budget and efficient use of current resources. ▪ Led and managed the local, global IT vendors. Communicating with key stakeholders inside and outside the company. ▪ Participating in regional and global IT meetings regularly for reporting and giving updates. ▪ Active involvement with the global cyber security team in implementing the cyber security policies and roadmap. ▪ Providing the best IT solutions to business and management problems. o Developed the IT procurement process with vendors and outsourced services. o Undertaking routine preventative maintenance, with regular testing for the disaster recovery process and ensuring all backup and restore procedures are regularly tested and documented. o SAP admin user for managing users, solution manager tickets, and supporting users. Key Achievements ▪ Built the startup datacenters with 70+ servers, 100+ switches, 170+ CCTV, 50+ VMTs for terminal trucks and RTGs, and STS Cranes, and 50+ wireless devices to cover all port yards with fiber connections and wireless backup links. Followed by creating a disaster recovery site (within Iraq) with replication servers. ▪ Implemented the IT standards, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with its business goals and global ICTS IT standards and managed the operational services to be aligned with the agreed SLAs. ▪ Implemented and managed Tenable vulnerability scanner for vulnerability assessment for computers/servers/network devices, Tenable IO for web applications (SOC), Alert Logic for Syslog and event log servers (SIEM). ▪ Implemented and managed CrowdStrike MDR for users and servers. ▪ Created an off-site (in Dubai) disaster recovery site for the main servers for the terminal operating system (Navis TOS). ▪ Improved internet stability by up to 40% by configuring the firewalls to balance between 3 internet links and decrease internet cost by 10% through effective negotiating pricing with internet service providers. ▪ Implemented terminal operating systems TOS (Navis N4), 2 successful upgrades from 2.6 to 3.4 and from 3.4 to 3.8).

• Job Details: Responsible for administering, managing, and monitoring Group Server Rooms in all companies, and branches, and leading IT Technical Engineer and Help Desk Teams.  Administered 4 Server Rooms, 14 Branch, plus UK, Algeria, Dubai and South Africa Servers. o Managed WAN connections using Juniper and cisco routers based on leased lines, WiMAX, Aruba and 3G, with more than 1900 Users. o Monitored Group Servers -which include domain controllers, Microsoft Exchange servers, SAP Server, Symantec Backup Exec, Antivirus Servers, SharePoint and Project Server, VMware vCenter Servers, MS SQL Servers, Fabrication Server, FAX Server, Microsoft Lync (SfB) Server, and File/Print Serves.  Implemented backup configurations for SAN storages (Sun, IBM v7000 and HP) using fiber & SCSI connections.
