Operations Readiness Phase - Dec 2014: · Participated in the Operation readiness preparation from very first scratch, developing the refinery’s utilities and power plant operations concept, commissioning planning, operating manual preparation, DCS & OTS, Local operator training plan and train the trainers plan of execution. · Advising and deputizing the utilities and power plant operations manager in implementing advanced and effective activities of health, safety, and environmental activities. · Partook in Process Hazard Analyses and Design Hazard Reviews for the power plant and utilities section. · Developed the utilities and power plant operators’ continuous improvement training program. · Developed early model of the competency standards which met the needs for refinery operation department. · Participated on the refinery competency matrix development, assessment plan and gap analysis techniques. Turnaround - Pit-stop Phase (Utilities and Power Plant TA Coordinator) - 2018: · Responsible for drafting an operations organization chart for the execution of the Turnaround Utilities and offsite area. · Supported TA Budget cost management initiatives (Hot cost reduction – developed by me) · Hold Operations accountable to follow Risk Identifications as well as approving permits timely to avoid delays in turnaround work. Assisted the shutdown operators with permit approvals and approve confined space permits. · Supported the operations teams by creating a training plan that includes MOC’s, procedures. and assisting with training operations teams for Shutdown, Cleanup and Startup. Reviewed operations procedures before being used. · Responsible for providing daily updates on turnaround activities and progress as well as keeping track of the hours Operations personnel work. · Collaborating with the Technical and QC Departments to work on plans for discovery work observed during the turnaround. Commercial Operations Phase – 2019 to Present: · Creating training plans; design, develop, and deploy training events and supporting materials. · Delivering group and individual instruction and training covering a range of technical, operational, and management areas in a refinery operational field. · Formulating training outlines and determine instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops. · Evaluating effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods. · Creating training materials, presentations/ demonstrations/ E-learning content to enhance the training and reinforce learning. · Working with the HR&T department to deliver training in line with refinery operations and HSE requirements and the plans agreed plus Providing reporting and data of training activities.

• Job Details:Commissioning Operation Engineer, in BAIJI Power Plant (6×160MW) SIEMENS SGT 2000E, GAS TURBINE under SPPA-T3000 Control System. Fuel Unloading, Fuel forwarding, Crude oil treatment, water and Waste water treatment plants. Responsibilities and Skills:- • Directing and guiding the operation team, coordinate the commissioning activities (Mechanical, electrical and I&C) for GTG (gas turbine Generator) area, and BOP (balance of plant) area. • Participate in kick off meetings performed by relevant project and Participate in project status meetings. • Prepare the PTW system to confirm that all the activities are doing as per the company quality with close coordination with the SIEMENS team on the site. • Ensure the preparation of commissioning, operation, and quality record and feedback documentation. • Work Shoulder-to-shoulder with the planning department to follow up and update the project schedules. • Maintain logbooks to record commissioning and operational events as specified in the work instructions. • Assist with preparing commissioning schedule, developing primary turnover system creation, preparing commissioning resource plan and preparing commissioning execution plan. • Maintains and Prepare all CCC packages, operations and maintenance documentations. • Following and helping in the commissioning procedure for the GTG systems and prepare the daily progress reports with SIEMENS TFA’s (technical field advisors). • Responsible for assisting the start-up commissioning teams with all aspects of power plant operations. • Worked as a Shift Supervisor during commissioning to train the local Iraqi Operators how to operate all plant systems. • Carry out risk assessments on each job as required and raise any concerns with the commissioning Manger. • Monitoring the performance of staff and operational support contract staff to ensure optimum delivery from the plant. • Developing all plant operating procedures for GTG area, fuel unloading, treatment and forwarding plant. • Provide a professional operations support service to the project department and directly to customer.
