    • Job Details:Review and study all Contractual documents [The main Contract, BOQ, BOD, Tender drawings, Specs, RFP, Award letter, and Contractor’s queries & answers], in order to identify the scope of work and the contractual obligations. Preparation of contractual correspondences to the Engineer, Employer and subcontractors (responses, notifications, negotiations, investigations, etc.) in accordance with the contract terms & conditions. Review the Engineer’s comments / responses for the [IFC, site instructions, request for clarifications “RFC”, and shop drawings], to identify any additional works/burdens or required modifications based on new instructions by the Engineer/Employer that may require raising a notification of variation / change order in this regard. Leading a team consists of 2 contract engineers and 4 quantity surveyors for quantification takeoff, in accordance with the applicable method of measurement. Management of Claims Compensation for "Additional Cost & EOT" due to any additional works / burdens that have been added to the original scope of works, unforeseen physical conditions that was not taken into consideration during signing the contract or any delays attributable to the Engineer/Employer, with all necessary evidence documents. Preparation of the transfer for saving and deficit items (Addition & Deletion), through a comparison between the tender design VS the final design, in order to identify the actual project value and to avoid any exceeding up more than 10% of the original project value without obtaining a written approval from the Employer. Preparation of Subcontract agreement in accordance with the provisions of FIDIC/other contracts and based on the previous best practice for the same situations, to avoid any further disputes between the parties after signing the agreement. Monitoring and Controlling the Subcontractors and issuance the IPC and final account statements after deductions (if any), and make sure of all guarantees shall still valid for the whole duration of the Subcontract in accordance with the agreement provisions. Controlling the project performance through issuance and analyze the forecast cost reports and cash flow according to the construction program and the baseline schedule. Manage the commercial risks which requires entry in deep details to make sure that we are still working within the allowed budget, and controlling the over budget items. Comparing and analyzing of Competitive RFQ and RFP from the Subcontractors and Suppliers after negotiation in order to propose a short listed of qualified subcontractors after careful study in terms of technical & financial assessment, with a comparison of the actual cost versus the selling prices, to make sure that actual cost still under budget. Identify the contractual problems, commercial risks and legal issues, and taking appropriate actions by providing the contractual advices and promptly satisfactory solutions to be discussed with the higher management. Good knowledge of manage FIDIC / government contracts in addition to several types of contracts like “Re-measured, Lump Sum and EPC Turn-Key”. Follow up and review the Engineer’s evaluation for IPC, claims compensation and participate in the subsequent negotiations by providing all required and/or substantiation documents in order to demonstrate the right of compensations. Develop and maintain the benchmark information on the basis of previous best practices of contracts, secured supplemental agreements and Claims Compensation. Preparation of tender BOQ according to the contractual drawings & specs and the revised BOQ according to the IFC’s drawings and approved variation orders for the required modifications as requested by the Engineer and/or the Employer. Preparation of the IPC with all necessary supporting documents and the final account statements after initial handover along with all substantiation documents. Preparation of materials contracts and make sure that it will be supplied in due course in accordance with the contract provisions, BOQ description and the specifications. Administration of the pre-contract and study the bid documents (invitation for proposal IFP, RFP, RFI, main contract, tender drawings, bill of quantity, specifications and contractor’s queries & answers, award letter), in order to identify the scope of work and the contractual obligations. Estimation the tender evaluation through preparation a comparison between the contract quantities according to the (B.O.Q) & the actual quantities according to the tender drawings, in order to find out the forecast of actual project value. Send the Contractual inquiries (if necessary) to the Employer in order to obtain the required clarifications in the absence of required information during the bidding stage. Review and analyze the Employer responses for the Contractor’s queries & answers which should be taken into consideration during the pricing stage.
