• Job Details:Key Achievements • Played a principal role during the initial planning and setup phase of the Company before and after its incorporation that included numerous activities such as: o Setting up the Finance Manual and Processes Work flow o Legal Entities Structures o Corporate Finance department Structure and Personnel hiring o Boarding and Training of various finance locations worldwide. • Implemented cost monitoring measures which has resulted in 12% overhead cost savings. • Main contributor in preparation of consolidated financial statements to launch IPO in accordance to GAAP / PCAOB standards. • Participating extensively in strategic planning efforts through high-level data analysis, and focused financial reports to executive management. Responsibilities • Leading a team of eight employees of various levels in the Corporate Accounting function which includes Management Accounting, Fixed Assets Cash and Intercompany positions. • Increasing the efficiency of finance department personnel through job rotations and internal workshops while fostering an environment of collegiality and collaboration. • Managing budgets and quarterly forecast process with the line managers which led to greater ownership of expenses. • Defining and maintaining the monthly financial close schedule. • Focal point of communicating all financial updates and new policies and procedures and provide guidance as well as required trainings to finance personnel when necessary. • Liaison with internal and external auditors, lawyers and insurance agencies. • Reviewing technical accounting papers and providing and supporting the information in the management discussion and analysis annual report. • Providing annual review and consultation on the corporate finance manual and internal controls procedures to management.
