• Job Details:Key Responsibilities: ● Leading the export team overseeing logistics operations of 8,000+ food and beverage glass containers annually from three factories in Egypt to customers across Africa, Asia, South America and Europe. ● Setting and reviewing KPIs, leading our export team to achieve logistics objectives. ● Overseeing supply chain optimisation in my team – giving direction on things to improve SLOs such as carrier selection, freight negotiations, route optimisation and processes Key Achievements: ● Reducing cost and transit time across North Africa from three to two weeks by establishing new partnerships with alternative carriers and routes. ● Modifying team processes to ensure we apply for the national government subsidy for every delivery leaving our factories – this can save as much as 15% off shipping costs.
