• Job Details:• Define the objectives of the department, its structure, organisation and operating rules in the short and long term and discuss them with my team • Propose and implement work processes, procedures and technical resources related to Factory Engineering. • Lead and coordinate the Factory Engineering team and maintain competencies, motivation and performance to achieve the team’s mission and objectives. • Propose and control the Factory Engineering budget as well as the factory's capital investment plans and related capital expenditures. • Propose and monitor Factory Engineering in accordance with the key performance indicators. • Recruit, integrate, appraise, train, discipline and motivate my staff • Support my staff in their management activities • Define training needs for my department according to competency matrix • Initiate and lead the continuous improvement projects or capital expenditure projects • Manage Maintenance Department purchases and validate the stock levels for spare parts • Develop standardization of equipment • Anticipate needs, decide the priorities and adjust means and resources • Analyse breakdowns, results and indicators in order to propose, priorities and carry out action plans • Active contribution in setting up, implementing and monitoring capital expenditure plans in the short and long term • Manage and/or validate the various stages of projects for new installations, from the design stage to validation • Select and assess the external contractors • Ensure that the documentation remains updated • Ensure that internal rules are respected and that the means are available (PPE, work permit, health and safety prevention plans) • Maintain installations to comply with regulations and propose improvements •.
