• Job Details:Senior Infrastructure Engineer, on site, where I worked on two major cultural and sports projects (Katara Cultural Village and Aspire Zone Foundation) in Qatar, working closely with the client, consultants and local authorities as part of the coordination process. - Performing comprehensive technical reviews on "wet" utility and civil works on a diverse portfolio of AspireKatara projects which include design-build and traditionally procured commercial, light-industrial and masterplan developments. - Providing technical support to validate all design submittals against client briefs and local statutory regulations. - Delivering road design and accessibility concepts, during Master Planning stages, for vehicular/pedestrian circulation. - Coordinating, preparing and delivering RFP’s and technical project briefs. - Reviewing and critiquing consultant and D&B contractor design reports, drawings, calculations, tender documents and working drawings. - Stakeholder liaison. Participating in stakeholder liaison workshops with integrated teams of designers, engineers, client representatives and third-part regulatory bodies (including Q-Rail, Ashghal and MoT) to mitigate any impact on our projects, identify interdisciplinary utility clashes and propose strategic partnerships.

Senior Design Engineer (Wet Utilities)Full Time

• Job Details:Senior drainage design engineer, in the main office, where I most recently worked on a large highway project and worked closely with the local authorities (such as ASHGHAL) to coordinate various designs on other projects throughout Qatar. - Part of a 9 member drainage design team; where the 95 kilometer highway project (North Road Expansion) was divided into 5 sections, and I managed and worked on approximately 15 kilometers of drainage design. - Responded to RFI’s and TQ’s related to the North Road and Lusail Highway projects.  Design Engineer for residential and commercial projects such as Barwa Commercial Avenue, Barwa City, and municipal projects such as Lusail Expressway and Muntazah Road Extension. - Contributed to the waste water and surface water design for Barwa Commercial Avenue and Barwa City. - Site Engineer for Barwa Commercial Avenue between April 2010 and July 2010. Duties included addressing unexpected technical difficulties by offering technical advice and assistance to the site team, checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations. - Part of a review team for a TSE network upgrade for Peripheral Roads in Barwa City. - Part of a review team for a TSE and Foul Water network upgrade/resizing and re-directing to accommodate the new road layout and future flows on Lusail Highway. - Coordinated with other disciplines for the re-routing of the existing TSE network on Muntazah Road Extension. - Contributed in the upgrade design of the Qatar Armed Forces’ internal gravity foul water network. - Foul Water, TSE/Irrigation and Potable Water Constructability Review for New Doha Port Project.

Staff Engineer (Sanitary Engineer) Full Time

• Job Details:Worked alongside two project managers as a Staff Engineer for various residential and commercial projects. Also involved in municipal projects such as landfills and weigh stations. - Reviewed shop drawings, wrote specs and recommended maintenance procedures for new waste water treatment plants for the City of Lady Lake, Florida. - Attended meetings and participated in coordination efforts to evaluate the construction progress of the City of Lady Lake's waste water treatment plants. - Provided inspection services to new waste water treatment plants and prepared related reports for the City of Lady Lake, Florida. - Prepared utility layouts and grading plans for residential and commercial projects in central Florida. - Coordinated with the appropriate governmental state, county and city agencies as part of the permitting process to meet their surface water and wastewater treatment design criteria for various projects within the state of Florida. - Provided design support in municipal waste landfill sites structures, leachate and gas collection systems and weigh stations for landfills in various regions throughout Florida (Brevard County and Orange County). - Conducted comprehensive feasibility studies and due diligence reports for new regional commercial projects. - Assisted in cost estimates, reviewing submittal packages, and responding to Design Queries and RFIs.
