• Job Details:As Softex Development Manager, my primary responsibility was to get a product out the door. My goal was always to deliver results to the customer, or market, and do everything necessary to achieve this. To do this my role was to make sure the development team is able to work as efficiently as possible and this means making sure they have clear goals, both short term and long term. I took sole responsibility from the initial project scope to deploying the product out to customer sites with delegated tasks through different project phases along with proper monitoring and mentoring for managed team members. Areas of expertise included: • Project Scoping and Planning • Process establishment and control • Technology and Development strategies and methodologies • Automated testing and Quality Assurance • Deployment and Release Management • Team Staffing and Administrative functions Technical Expertise • Proficient in handling the most complex of technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and designing techniques. • Understands different programming languages and ability to solve problems in coding, testing and deployment. • Possesses good knowledge of different software systems, client/server architectures and various compatibility requirements. • Experience in troubleshooting, software development processes and ability to understand and implement client requirements. • Experience in developing project tracking and variance reports. Management Skills • Ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients • Understand project requirements, coordinate with resources and direct the projects in the right direction in a timely manner • Ability to manage change and effectively pass on the information down the line to concerned teams for smoother execution • Delegate and allocate responsibilities efficiently to manage projects end to end
